Your Right in Christ Jesus

   Your right in Christ Jesus. When we are dealing with a sensitive topic like this one; first we should ask ourselves: what are Rights? What's my Right? Do I really have a genuine Right in this world? Of course you have----your right is in Christ Jesus. Now what is Right? "Right is anything that is in accordance with principle of justice." Being rightful or rightish about yourself is not what you just get like that especially in this world, but we have a better "right in Christ." Therefore, Every genuine Christian is no longer under the dominion of Satan, for God has "delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son."

God's Original Design for Man

   God's original design for man was that he should have dominion over every created thing on the earth because he was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26). The world "Dominion" as used here, means lordship, rulership and sovereignty. It can also been seen as an act of having power through legal authority. In Genesis chapter one, we read that God gave to Adam, the first man He created, a kingdom and also gave him dominion over it. God was so interested in the man He created in so much that He crowned him with glory and honour (Psalms 8:5). His kingdom was magnificent in scope; it covered the whole earthly realm; he was to be the king of the universe under God's leadership. Everything was placed under his authority (Psalms 8:3-8). He was designed to rule over everything that God had made in the universe; all creatures were to be subject to his dictates and direction. Being the king of the kingdom meant that man was to guard and protect his kingdom on earth from all intruders including the devil and his cohorts. And as long as Adam walked according to God's commands, he was to retain his position and dominion.

   But alas, Regrettably! Man lost this unique position as a result of his sin. How deadly is sin? Adam's responsibility was to safeguard the earth and preserve it from all external forces but he failed to do this when he allowed Satan in and obeyed his voice. Satan was an archangel who was dismissed from God's service and cast out of Heaven to the earth because of his inordinate ambition to be like the Most High (Isaiah 14:12-14). He wanted to overthrow God and be in control of God's kingdom as if it was possible. So by disobeying the express commandment of God and yielding to sin and Satan in Eden, Adam committed treason against God and relinquished his authority over the earth to Satan, for as the Scripture says, "His servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness" (Romans 6:16). Adam traded his divine position for the knowledge of good and evil and Satan become the "god of this world" (2 Corinthians 4:4). The devastating consequence of this is that the whole humanity came under the bondage of Satan.

   Now, being the god of this world, Satan  wreaks so much havoc on earth. As the Scripture puts it clearly, that Satan's only intention is to "steal, and to kill, and to destroy" (John 10:10a). The extraordinary level of decadence, corruption and wickedness being experienced today is a direct consequence of Satan's reign on this earth. This present world lies in evil because it is by an evil personality working in direct antagonism to God's programme band purpose for the earth. Millions of people in various parts of the world are held captive by Satan and are under the influence and at the mercy of demonic powers. They are bound by the chains of sin, fear, worry and anxiety, diseases, tormenting habits, to mention only a few.

The Christian's Position in Christ

   While this world remains under the governance of Satan for the meantime, God initiated a programme to get the kingdom back from him just immediately after Adam's fall in Genesis chapter three. Propelled by His love for humanity, God promised to send a deliverer who would bruise the head of Satan, the old serpent, and wrest the kingdom from his hand (Genesis 3:15). This was a great mystery that even Satan had not the slightest knowledge of (1 Corinthians 2:7-8). The promise was fulfilled when Jesus Christ was born; He was the seed of the woman who was to bruise the serpent's head.

   When Jesus Christ died in the cross and rose again the third day, He conquered Satan and purchased eternal redemption for us. As part of the divine master plan, Jesus Christ----the second person in the Godhead----voluntarily assumed human nature and subjected Himself to the death of the Cross so that "through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage" (Hebrews 2:14-15). Therefore, by His death, resurrection and ascension to Heaven, Jesus did not only bruised Satan's head but also "destroyed his works, disarmed his principalities and powers, and took the captives out of his hands, and saved those he would have devoured" ----according to John Gill's own words.

   The Bible tells us that having overpowered principalities and powers, and conquered the dominion of Satan, Jesus now sits "in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:" And [God] put all things under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church " (Ephesians 1:20-22). Christ now has all the glory, power and dominion of this world. This implication of this is that every genuine Christian is no longer under the dominion of Satan, for God has "delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom if his dear Son" (Colossians 1:13). He saves us from the dominion of sin and Satan, and from eternal damnation in hell. Through Jesus, we have the forgiveness of our sins, redemption from all the works of the devil and healing from all forms of diseases (Colossians 1:14). When Jesus delivered us from the chains of sin and the yoke of Satan's dominion, He raised us up to sit with Him in Heaven: He has "quickened us together with Christ, And hath raised us up together, and and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 2:5-6). For every born-again child of God, this is our true and present position in Christ Jesus. We are seated with Him in heavenly places, which is far above all authorities, rulers, principalities, powers and forces of this world.

   It is therefore, an aberration and a substandard life for a Christian to live under servitude to Satan and his hordes of fiendish agents. As a born-again Christian, you should enter into the liberty which Jesus Christ has purchased for you, and not be subject anymore to the dominion of sin and Satan.

Exercising Your Dominion in Christ

   Many Christians live defeated lives because they are ignorant of who they are n Christ. They walk feeling defeated and humiliated while the the devil and circumstances of life toss them about like a rudderless ship. But this shouldn't be so. As a Christian man, woman, youth boy or girl and teenage children alike, you are to determine the course of your life according to the will of God and do not allow the devil to drift you about in life. Good enough, God has promised to help you (Hebrews 13:5; Isaiah 41:10; 49:24-26).

   In this year my very dear reader reading this message now, take dominion over your life, heath, workplace (career), business, ministry and family. Beloveth, rise up and assert your authority over the devil and move on from victory to victory for this is your portion in Christ Jesus. Enough of this spineless Christian life; exercise your rights in Christ, live out your DNA----because you resemble God your Father.

   In fact, when you repented of your sins and forsake them and became born-again, you became a child of God----heir of God and a joint heir with Christ (Romans 8:17). What Christ has is what He's given to you. He has dominion and authority, and He has given all of these to you also (Luke 10:19).

   Instead of living in fear or bondage, Jesus expects that you exercise the authority and dominion He has given to you. Take dominion over everything concerning your life and well-being. There are three realms in which you need to exercise your dominion as a Christian: body, soul and spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23). Don't let sickness have dominion over your body; because you have been healed  (Isaiah 53:5). Don't let sin have dominion over your soul and spirit (Romans 6:14). Don't let Satan have dominion over you in any form. Beloveth, rise and walk in the dominion that Christ has given you for free.

Christianity and the falling Church

Why is the truth in Christ so hard for people to understand? The Christian culture is dwindling according to scripture and there are those that continue to denigh the very existence of this problem. 

   If we as Christians could stop for a moment and compare the scripture with the events of the world then maybe we could bring about a revival that would bring in the sinner and salvation could come to others. Believing the scripture is the first step in revival of the church and it will spark the church into action. (2 Thessalonians 2:3) Let no man deceive you by any means (doctrine): for that day, (rapture), shall not come except there come a falling away first (leaving of the true gospel), and that man of sin be revealed (antichrist), the son of perdition (ruin, destruction). 

   Lets run a few numbers by: Between 1993 and 2002, the share of Americans who said they were {Protestant} (Christians) dropped from 63 percent to 52 percent, after years of remaining generally stable, according to a study released Tuesday, July 20th, 2004 by the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago. While the nation’s share of other groups, including Muslims, Orthodox Christians, Buddhists and Hindus, rose from 3% in 1993 to 7% in 2002. The number of Roman Catholics (25%) and Jews (2%) remained stable over the same period, Analysts say that Catholics are no longer a solid block of voters, but are sharply divided in their ideologies (Principles and Beliefs). The world estimate of Islamic converts under the Muslim Religion are somewhere between 1 and 1.5 Billion worldwide. What does all this mean? The number of non-Christians (those who do not believe in the Bible) has grown to 48 percent, in the United States alone. Athiest, Agnostics, and antichristians now out number the true believer in the Deity of Christ. 

   

   The true church, the Bible believing church, is falling away. The Pope of Rome wants to make Jerusalem, The Holy City, an international city for Moslems, Jews and all other religions, under His control. One world religion, one world Government and a one world banking system, if this isn’t the spirit of antichrist, I don’t know what is. Day after day the news media are telling stories of the Israeli and Palestinian conflict, and the center of all of this conflict, if you look at prophecy, is Jerusalem.

10. Juche 19 million 

11. Spiritism 14 million and Judaism 14 million. 

   

   Christianity is no longer the top rated Religion in the United States or elsewhere in the world. 2,151,000,000+ are antichrist or claim nonreligious. . Lets look at: (2 Thessalonians 2:3) "Let no man deceive you by any means (doctrine): for that day shall not come (rapture), except there come a falling away first (leaving of the true gospel), and that man of sin be revealed (antichrist), the son of perdition (ruin, destruction)." And the very order of events is: 

1. The working of the mystery of lawlessness under divine restraint, which had already begun in the apostle’s time (2 Thessalonians 2:7). The restraining factor here is the Holy Ghost, which has restrained the spirit of antichrist from total domination of mankind, which allows us freedom of choice. 

2. The apostasy of the professing church (2 Thessalonians 1:3); (Luke 18:8); (2 Titus 3:1-8). Apostasy; changing from the doctrine of God to the doctrine of man. 

3. The removal of that which restrains the mystery of lawlessness (2 Thessalonians 2:6); (2 Thessalonians 2:7). The restrainer is a person -- "he," and since a "mystery" always implies a supernatural element, (The restraining factor here again is the Holy Ghost) (That which restrains, could have read, whom restrains) (See Scofield) - (Matthew 13:11),

This Person can be none other than the Holy Spirit in the church, to be "taken out of the way"; (2 Thessalonians 2:7); (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17). 

4. The manifestation of the lawless one (2 Thessalonians 2:8-10); (Daniel 7:8); (Daniel 9:27); (Matthew 24:15); (Revelation 13:2-10). 

5. The coming of Christ in glory and the destruction of the lawless one (2 Thessalonians 2:8); (Revelation 19:11-21).

6. The day of Jehovah (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12); (Isaiah 2:12).

   And that man of sin be revealed. He shall be revealed then in connection with the apostasy [.A falling away--rather as the Greek, "the falling away," or "apostasy," namely, the one of which "I told you" before (2 Thessalonians 2:5), "when I was yet with you," and of which the Lord gave some intimation ( hint, indication, warning ) (Matthew 24:10-12; John 5:43).] (Isaiah 57:4). 

The man of sin has been thought to refer to Caligula, Titus, Simon Magus, Nero, the Pope of Rome, Luther, Hitler, Stalin, Mahomet, Obama, etc.

   An apostasy must precede the Coming. That is, there shall be a general falling away from the purity of the faith. As today, many churches are recognizing Homosexuals as Christians, sending (child molester priest) to nonextriditing countries to prevent prosecution, teaching conversion (Being Born into a Religion without being Reborn) [John 3:3, 3:7. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.] 

and replacing rebirth, turning to nature to heal, ordaining gays as ministers, adding man made doctrine into the Bible, Adding other books and chapters, written by man, to Gods word, teaching that Jesus didn’t suffer on the Cross, denighing Christ Deity, ect. No apostasy of magnitude occurred in the history of the church for centuries, which could answer to Paul’s description, but the gradual declension, corruption, and departure from the ancient faith, has came full circle in today’s society. 

   Those who are lost here today, can you see the pattern in today’s society, a turning away from decency and righteousness? The political turmoil, religious indifference and lack of morals in government and in our schools. 

   The turning away from decency and God and the turning to dependency in government and pornography. How many movies can you name that are decent enough for our children to watch? When some courts protect the rights of antichristian religions to teach their belief in schools and the Bible believing church loses every effort to teach Jesus, there is something wrong. 

   There is coming a falling away, and it has already started. There is a famine in the land for the true believer in God and His word; many are seeking a Bible believing church that is strong in principle and in doctrine to feed them the word. Many ignore prophecy but prophecy is a spiritual and a intervening part of the churches existence. A prophecy and a holiness teaching church is a strong church; it’s an alert church, a church that Jesus will not find sleeping and a church that will draw many Christ. 

Is Christianity loosing ground? This is something that you must answer for yourself; you have the facts, now its time to make a decision.

   

A decision to serve God in truth, righteousness a holiness. Let your life counts for eternity. Make a solid decision where to spend eternity: whether in Heaven where God's glory dwells or Hell fire where the devil is; where the worms dieth not, where there is no light, oh, its a plan where there is no water at all, in fact, the darkness in hell fire can be cut by a knife. With all these my friend, do you still want to go to hell fire? Yes! You'll go if you continue in your sins. No! You won't if you give your life to Jesus Christ and live a holy life to God's glory. Please, think and meditate on all of these.

CONTEND AND POSSESS

   Life is full of challenges. This has been the plight of humanity since ages past. The contest through life started when God banished Lucifer from Heaven because of pride and rebellion (Isaiah 14:12-15) and he has since been roaming about with the sole aim of destroying God's creation---particularly humanity. The devil fights day and night to see to the destruction of man, and more intense is his fight against the born-again Christian. This is because he wants to rob you of all that there is to possess as a child of God, including your soul if you don't watch it.

 

 God has given you precious promises and inheritance in Christ which Satan doesn't want you to enjoy and take possession of. The only option you have is to stand up and contend so that you can possess your possession. Don't go through this year beaten and battered; engage the enemy in a battle, because life only gives you what you demand and not what you desire. You need to position yourself to enjoy all that God has for you this year and your level of preparedness will determine how far you will go.

   Beloved, this is the year to make progress. You have dwelt too long in your situation, and the devil has done enough. That financial blessing, husband, wife, children, promotion and all the good things of life you want is available to you. But for you to possess it, contention is necessary because the devil is not willing to let you have it easily. Contend with any force that wants to stop you (Deuteronomy 2:24). You may think that whatever God has given you will readily come to you and you need not contend. Remember that although God gave the children of Isreal the Promised Land, they contended and fought for it before they finally possessed it. Don't be afraid to contend for your possession because God has promised you victory (Isaiah 49:25). It is not enough to know that God has given you all that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3) but aim at making them a reality in your life.

   Besides, the Scripture says, "from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force" (Matthew 11:12). You need to come to terms with the fact that spiritual warfare is a part of the Christian life. Even our Lord Jesus Christ had to contend with the devil while He was on  earth as a man (Matthew 4:1-11). Don't be afraid to contend with the devil. Our Lord Jesus defeated him over 2,000 years ago. He won the victory for you through His death, burial and resurrection. Although he still roars and barks, he has been defeated and rendered powerless, and so, he can do you no harm. So, arise and contend for your inheritance as a child of God, stop fidgeting before the enemy of your soul; rather, rebuke him and he will flee from you.

   Now it's up to you to exert the authority and power Jesus invested in you to take back the ground the enemy has gained. You have nothing to fear "because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." Let the Deborahs and Esthers of this generation arise and contend against the devil, let them intercede on behalf of their communities and fight for the souls of men that the devil has held captive until they are truly liberated in Jesus.

   Moreover, if you're not yet born-again, you do not have any share in the Christian's right in Christ and are not eligible to contend with the devil because he is lord over your life. He can oppress and maltreat you at will. But, if you will repent of all your sins today and allow Jesus Christ into your life, He will give you power and authority over Satan and He will also help you defeat him every battle he wages against you. Beloveth! Decide today to live for God.
